Intellegens is a spin-out from the University of Cambridge that has developed a unique deep learning architecture that can work with sparse and noisy data. We are currently working in the drug discovery, material design, and healthcare sectors. As a result of new customer projects and rapid team expansion we are looking to appoint a commercially focused project manager to build a sales function and take new products to market.

Key activities of role

  • Priority management, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail are key to help us both deliver a number of commercial and grant projects
  • Develop relationships with internal stakeholders, colleagues, and clients
  • Work closely with the founding team to drive growth, expansion, and understand the customer journeys
  • Attend sales meetings, events, present on stage where required, and travel both domestic and international
  • Ambitious to take advantage exceptional career opportunities as a member of the early team

Candidate requirements

  • First class or upper second class degree from a top-tier university
  • Be self-motivated, capable of understanding complex systems, and processes
  • Decisive; take the lead and make things happen in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environments
  • Demonstratbable experience in consultative / solutions based software sales
  • Ideally some experience of running InnovateUK Grants
  • Preferably knowledge of one of the materials, drug discovery, or related discipline
